随着我国义务教育学校大面积开设外语课程,特别是在农村及少牧民族地区中小学开设英语课程,农村及少数民族地区的英语教学与教师专业发展已成为目前亟待解决的课题。为推动少数民族地区中小学英语教学改革,促进少数民族地区英语教师专业发展,进一步提升少数民族地区英语教师的教学理念、教学水平和自身素质,解决在实际教学中出现的问题,讨论少数民族地区英语课堂教学的方式、方法,国家基础教育实验中心外语教育研究中心联合甘肃省教育科学研究所,于2014年9月21日至9月24日在甘肃省兰州市举办了第四届全国少数民族地区中小学英语教学与教师发展研讨会。教育部有关部门领导、国内权威英语教育教学专家、全国少数民族聚居地区中小学英语教师、各省(区、市)英语教研员、从事少数民族地区英语教育科研人员、学校和教科研机构主管英语教学的领导等800余人参加了此
