芒果天蛾Compsogenepanopus(Cramer)属于天蛾科Spingidae、云纹天蛾亚科Ambulieinae,芒果天蛾属Compsogene。为云南西双版纳地区和广东海南岛常见的天蛾种类。幼虫食叶,造成枝条缺叶或叶片成缺刻状。形态:饲养的成虫翅展115～136毫米。头、胸部枯黄色至棕褐色;腹部棕黄色,第3～4和第4～5节间在背中线两侧各有一对小黑斑,第5节后的各节两侧有黑斑;前翅暗黄色,基部颜色较深,外线棕色较宽,外缘中部有较大的棕色三角形斑块,近后角处有椭园形棕黑色斑块,斑块上方三条半园形白色线纹;后翅中央有粉红斑,外缘呈深褐色横带;翅反面深黄色
