金州位于辽东半岛南端,是大连通往东北腹地的门户和勾通黄渤两海的桥梁。近年来,全区上下统一认识,坚持可持续发展战略,科学规划。突出重点,狠抓落实,取得了实施生态建设总体规划的阶段性成果,成为首批全国生态示范区之一。一、提高各级领导干部的思想认识。是建设好生态示范区的关键。金州区原是大连市县建制的城乡结合部。全区11个镇、1个乡、7个街道、一个国营农场,52万人口,工业总产值占社会总产值一半以上。金州是大连市副食品供应基地,也是外贸出口商品供货基地和沿海城市对外开放的“窗口”。金州在经济快速发展中,面临着人口、资源、环境的压力,争取列入国家生态示范建设试点区,是金州经济社会持续发展的必然选择。

It is an inevitable choice for the sustainable economic and social development of Jinzhou.
