The use of moss to properly control the growth and development of plants can increase the yield and quality of Sandao Bupleurum. Different farming methods have a greater impact on the yield of medicinal herbs. One-year-old Sandao Bupleurum uses deep-rotation or high-ridge cultivation methods to increase the root dry weight by 28% and 50%, respectively, compared to ordinary flat-bottom methods.
