砖瓦溪墓群位于重庆市石柱县黎场乡望江村西北沿江地带,是其境內已发现的规模最大的汉代墓群。2001年10月至2003年12月,山西省考古研究所、山西大学文博学院等单位先后4次对该遗址开展了考古发掘工作,发掘面积共计5000平方米,共清理汉代土坑墓和砖室墓38座,出土陶、铜、铁等各类文物1800余件。通过考古发现,展示出既有汉代风格又兼具地方特色的丧葬文化,主要体现在以下几个方面:
