The Foreign Trade English Correspondence is one of the main courses of International Trade majors. Due to the habit of thinking in Chinese, students usually cannot correctly and flexibly use post-positive attributives in the correspondence writing of foreign trade. Participle phrases, prepositional phrases, attributive clauses, infinitive phrases, adjective phrases and apposition clauses all can follow nouns as post-positive attributives to modify nouns. Mastering the correct expression of post-positive attrib-utives will help students improve their writing competence of foreign trade correspondence.
