四倍体少籽西瓜杂交新组合403×B15是2007年秋利用中小果型优良高世代四倍体自交系B15作父本,中果型四倍体西瓜403作母本,进行杂交配组筛选出的四倍体新组合,一般单果重3.0~3.5 kg,果实正圆形,表皮深绿有光泽,布有隐暗花纹,皮质坚韧,皮厚1.0~1.2 cm,果肉鲜红色,汁多,清甜爽口,剖面光滑,纤维黄筋少,中心可溶性固形物含量11.2%以上;中熟品种,全生育期春造90~100 d,秋造65~80 d。2009~2010年,连续2年进行露地爬地、大棚立架栽培品比试验和多点生产栽培示范试验。结果表明,露地爬地品比试验平均产量分别为31 775.9和34 377.2 kg/hm2,分别比对照黑美人增产14.2%和21.3%;大棚立架栽培品比试验平均产量分别为50 274.0和47 401.2 kg/hm2,分别比对照黑美人增产22.3%和15.8%;多点生产栽培示范试验平均产量32 124.0~48 499.5 kg/hm2,比对照品种黑美人增产14.0%~23.7%。该组合适宜露地爬地和大棚立架栽培。
