In order to implement the spirit of the 18th National Congress of the CPC on “Accelerating the Development of Modern Vocational Education” and implementing the requirements of deepening the comprehensive reform in the field of education, the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education hosted the 2017 Yunnan Provincial Higher Vocational Students Career Skills Competition, Teaching skills training, display teaching achievements, carry forward the spirit of artisans, demonstrate the style of vocational education, and to test the students ability, innovation and combat skills, to participate in national competition singles players. Wenshan College organized a total of three teams participating, the first professional music students to participate in the competition. As a mentor and lead teacher, I found that the event reflects some problems in today’s piano teaching, so that
