1990年3月,本刊发表了宁都县田头乡白沙小学民办教师廖长春十年如一日带领学生学习雷锋的先进事迹。尔后不久,廖长春被光荣地评选为全国学雷锋标兵,赴京出席了全国学雷锋标兵表彰大会。三年过去了,人们无时不在深切地怀念着雷锋精神,也非常关心这位标兵现在的情况怎样了?值此纪念毛泽东等老一辈无产阶级革命家为雷锋同志题词三十周年之际,特发表廖长春三年来坚持学雷锋为人民做好事的事迹片断,以飨读者。
