Objective: To study the role of electroencephalogram (EEG) in clinical treatment of acute carbon monoxide poisoning and delayed encephalopathy caused by carbon monoxide poisoning, and to evaluate its application value. Methods: From February 2012 to February 2014, 28 patients with acute carbon monoxide poisoning and carbon monoxide poisoning delayed encephalopathy were selected. EEG examination was performed and detailed description and analysis were performed. RESULTS: After treatment, the patient’s condition was effectively controlled. Three patients eventually died in a coma and one patient in a vegetative state. Conclusion: Acute carbon monoxide poisoning and carbon monoxide poisoning in patients with delayed encephalopathy, the use of EEG examination can be a detailed understanding of patients with brain function status, analysis of their specific damage to brain function for the clinical treatment of patients with a scientific reference Based on, can improve the patient’s prognosis.
