日本国土交通省大城市改造委员会最近推出一项未来50年日本东京圈和京阪神圈的改造计划。该计划预测,由于人口大幅度地减少,土地、住房等将随之宽裕,市政状况也趋向好转,加之信息技术革命的进步,人们将享受到更加高质量的生活。届时,东京圈内上班族的通勤时间将减少至平均30分钟,人均公园面积将为现在的5倍,达到20平方米。京阪神圈的公园面积也将为现在的3倍以上。日
