Previous reports and studies suggest that people may experience short-term memory loss after they start using statin-lowering drugs, and Strom, PhD, of Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey, and colleagues suggest that this loss of memory may Not with statins. The researchers calculated data from 482,500 UK patients who did not take any medication to reduce their cholesterol from 1987 to 2013.
