入世以来,浙江对外贸易呈现高速增长态势。2004年全省对外贸易总额继上年突破600亿美元大关后,又突破800亿美元,达到了852.3亿美元,居全国第四位。比上年增长38.8%。进入2005年,浙江外贸继续保持快速增长势头。据杭州海关统计,1-2月全省实现进出口贸易总额145.7亿美元,比去年同期增长38.8%。浙江外贸持续多年的快速发展令人瞩目,被誉为“浙江外贸现象”。浙江进出口总额从1995年的115亿美元增长到2001年的300亿美元以上,整整花了6年时间;从2001年的328亿美元增长到2003年的600亿美元以上,只花了2年时间;而从600亿美元跃升到800亿美元以上的新台阶,仅2004年一年的时间。20多年前,浙江的外贸对象国/地区不到10个,而如今“浙江制造”产品已进入全球五大洲的221个国家和地区。与此相伴随,浙江对国际市场的外部依赖迅速增强,外贸依存度1990年为25.5%,1995年为27.0%,2000年为
