This year is the Central Propaganda Department, the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, and other departments advocating and carrying out the 10th anniversary of reading for all. The State Administration of Press and Publication, SARFT recently issued the Circular on Carrying Out the Reading for All People in 2016, which sets out clearly the requirements for all-nation reading in 2016 from 10 aspects. The circular calls for a wide range of content-rich and diversified reading activities for all people; publishing and publishing more excellent works of quality to meet the diverse reading needs of the people; vigorously carrying out reading for children and putting special efforts in safeguarding special groups
