The United States Air Force has converted a Boeing NKC-136 aircraft into an in-flight laser laboratory for experiments on high-energy laser transmission and air-to-air weapon effects. This trial will be conducted at the Weapons Laboratory at the U.S. Air Force Special Weapons Center at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico.
