节瓜(Benincasa hispida Cogn.var.chieh-qua How.)又名毛瓜,是冬瓜的一个变种,属葫芦科。广东、广西栽培历史悠久。广州市内节瓜销售量仅次于菜心,除满足本地供应外,还远销香港、澳门等地。我们自1983年开始,进行节瓜引种试验,试验结果,嫩瓜亩产2500公斤,亩产值1200多元。老熟瓜亩产达1.4万公斤,亩产值1500多元。先后在泰安、淄博、青岛、临沂、济南等地推广500余亩,均表现抗病、高产、经济效益高等特点。
Benincasa hispida (Cogn.var.chieh-qua How.) Also known as hair melon, is a variant of melon, Cucurbitaceae. Guangdong, Guangxi cultivation has a long history. In Guangzhou, the sales volume of pumpkin is only inferior to that of Brassica chinensis. Besides satisfying the local supply, it is also exported to Hong Kong and Macao.
