轧钢机上的人字齿轮是用指状铣刀加工出来的,这种铣刀外面很难买到。由于生产的需要,只好自己动手制造。制造上碰到的第一个问题是铣刀外形的加工。原先考虑用样板刀加工,但样板刀本身的制造就有许多困难;以后考虑用靠模加工。我们知道,用靠模加工,必须拆去进刀丝杆,再装上弹簧和配重等一套装置,也相当费事。车工刘厚兴师傅根据他的经验,边做边想,终于设计成简易的靠模装置。这个靠模装置不但适于指状铣刀的加工,而且也适于其他不同形状零件的加工。靠模装置如附图所示。1是工件,装在三爪卡盘上。3是样板固定杆,装在尾座4上。2是样板,固定在固定杆3上。6是指针杆,装在四方刀架上。指针杆6上装固定套5和指针9,用螺帽7、8固定。
