With the improvement and development of the high exam questions in recent years, the test items for non-predicate verbs in the college entrance examinations have become wider and wider, and methods have become more and more active. For middle school students, learning non-predicate verbs and correctly distinguishing their usages becomes a major problem. Throughout the previous high exam questions, the proportion of non-predicate verbs is relatively large, and it is often combined with tense, voice, daily communication and other aspects to conduct comprehensive tests. By analyzing the high exam questions in recent years, we clearly found that the test content has significantly increased the examination of students’ comprehensive abilities. Candidates who want to achieve better results in the examination of non-predicate verbs should have the ability to memorize and understand grammatical knowledge, as well as to distinguish and use it flexibly in specific contexts, in addition to the ability to correctly analyze sentence structures.
