广东省花都华侨农场创建于1955年,是国家为安置归国华侨而创办的,1999年1月1日经广东省人民政府批准,下放花都区管理,并于8月19日批准设立花侨镇。花侨镇管辖原华侨农场范围,保留华侨农场牌子,为花都区最年轻的一个镇,该镇地处花都区东部,东接北兴镇,西连花东镇,南同白云镇接壤,北与从化市毗邻。花都大道贯境而过,山前旅游大道环抱其中,京珠高速公路出口于此,毗邻105、106、107国道,新国际机场距镇政府6公里,花都
