2000年10月27日在杭州市政府主持的“2000杭州经济合作洽谈会暨高新技术成果发布会、浙江信息技术成果发布会”上正式签约。医疗影像存储与传统(PACS)起源于战争中对紧急救护、远程医疗的需要,将医疗影像(如:X光、CT、核磁共振等)数字化,用数据处理的办法实现诊断、浏览、存储、检索、远程医疗等手段。使用PACS后将大大节省了医院、病人胶片费用,提高整个医院的工作效率,尤其是疑难病症的比较分析和远程医疗等手段的采用将可能挽救人的生命。
