中华人民共和国文化部于2月20日至3月2日在首都举办了話剧观摩演出。参加这次观摩演出的剧目有:中国青年艺术剧院的《降龙伏虎》,河北省話剧团的《紅旗谱》,上海人民艺术剧院的《枯木逢春》,北京人民艺术剧院的《英雄万岁》,中华全国总工会工人话剧团的《比翼齐飞》,中国人民解放軍战友話剧团的《槐树庄》,中国人民解放軍前綫話剧团的《东进序曲》,中央戏剧学院实验話剧院的《英雄列車》,四川人民艺术剧院的《丹鳳朝阳》,辽宁人民艺术剧院的《海边青松》,山东省話剧团的《一个老紅軍》,中国儿童剧院的《革命的一家》,共十二个话剧团体的十二个剧目。这些剧目都是新創作的。它們或是歌颂大跃进,或是回忆革命史,都反映了我們这个伟大的群众时代,表现了中国人民革命和建设的丰功伟績。这些剧目有的正确地反映了敌我矛盾,教育人們对敌人应当采取什么态度;有的正确地反映了人民內部矛盾,为正确处理人民內部矛盾树立榜样和提供經驗教训。在这些剧目中,塑造了曾国
