1998年6月13～15日,全路信息建设工作会议在北京召开。各铁路局(集团公司)主管计算机、电务工作的领导和运输、电务、计划处、电算中心的领导和有关工程技术人员,部计划、财务、科技司,运输、电务、机务、车辆局,部电子中心、外资办、鉴定中心、监理总站、铁科院、通号总公司、部直属通信处的有关领导共200多人参加了会议。会议由部总工程师、TMIS建设领导小组副组长华茂崑主持,铁道部副部长、TMIS建设领导小组组长刘志军作了题为:“抓住机遇,加速发展,为实现铁路信息现代化而努力奋斗”的报告。
