According to the newly published volume “2004” of the National General Bibliography, all the publishers in the country have sent 122,942 kinds of sample books published in 2004 to the Chinese version of the library, of which there are a total of 122,942 kinds of sample books of science and technology (including the CTP N, O, P 29,847 species accounted for 23,66% of the total; and 17,364 kinds of books in industrial technology (including T, U, V, and X categories) 59.70% of the total books; and 5763 kinds of computer books (only based on the statistics of TP3 in Chinese Library Classification), accounting for nearly one third (33.19%) of the total volume of industrial technology books.
