“文革”后七八十年代是中国动画再度发展的一个黄金时期,在这一阶段,中国动画逐步摆脱“文革”错误创作倾向带来的阴影,沿着民族化的发展道路继续向前,在作品数量和质量方面都取得了一定的成就,产生了多部具有鲜明民族特色的佳作。但同时由于经济体制的改革,市场逐步放开,国外动画的进入对中国动画产生了巨大冲击,中国动画剧作中某些根深蒂固的痼疾也渐渐暴露出来,成为制约发展的羁绊。
