这是于1995年前去寻谒眼镜祖师庙的故事,此文发表于1996年台北出版的“当代眼镜杂志”。发表后海内外眼镜业界朋友颇有回响,有台湾的业界朋友来大陆时特地去苏州参谒,香港的苏州藉某前辈还跟我补充了一些掌故。 今年春节过后,有台湾彰化来厦门的眼镜制造业朋友找到了我,谈及我这篇故事数年来一直袅绕于他心中,打算和另一位有心的同业朋友前去苏州祖师庙祭祀后分灵到台湾去供奉,我颇受感动。但是当我告诉他,祖师爷的神像和灵位早在文化大革命时被破坏了,无法分灵,他骤然一脸失望的神情。 “追源”寻根,是我中国传统社会的优良精神,台湾的眼镜行业不远千里要来苏州祭祀祖师庙,象
