我国已经建设了一定数量地下同轴电缆载波系统,但其通信能力还远未发挥出来,在不可能大量建设大容量光缆干线的情况下,采取技术措施扩大现有同轴电缆系统的传输容量,是较快增加长途电路的经济有效的办法.本文在简要论述了不改变线路增音距离进行挖潜扩容,和缩短增音站距离,进行N+N传输两类扩容方式之后,指出了扩容时应采取的若干技术措施;并对现有4380路系统扩容进行分析,系统线路噪声核算表明,将该系统扩容至6180路或7080路是可以实现的.
