ITU最近通过了一项国际被叫集中付费电话(IFreephone)的新标准,ITU E.169建议。该标准为IFreephone业务用户分配一个通用电话号码(UIFN),可在世界范围内使用而不受国家或电信运营者的约束。 Freephone业务最先于1966年在美国开放,现在该业务在美国每天约有1亿次呼叫的业务量。美国公司目前拥有全世界900万个号码中的90％。
The ITU recently passed a new standard for international called premium cellular telephones (IFreephones), Recommendation ITU E.169. This standard allocates a universal telephone number (UIFN) to IFreephone business users worldwide for use regardless of national or telecom operators. The Freephone business was first opened in the United States in 1966, and now it has about 100 million calls per day in the United States. U.S. companies now own 90% of the world’s 9 million numbers.
