近年来,社会需求的现实推动,让雕塑家们很活跃,纷纷投入到探索雕塑艺术表现的多种可能性中。一时间,各种手法不断地被应用在雕塑创作上,也出现了不少颇具创意的好作品。但是我们也应看到,在一派繁荣的景象中也存在许多负面因素。有些雕塑家过分强调设计性的“新奇形式”之开发,而忽视了雕塑本体和雕塑语汇的深入思考,有不少作品成为图案设计的“立体标本”而已。此外,许多雕塑家对中国传统雕塑语言的现代转化重视不够,对西方雕塑语汇的民族化转换也认识不足,其作品既不能放在世界艺术格局中确证自身,又不被民族文化所认可,更经不起时代精神总体指向的考量。今天,想就当下的雕塑现状请大家结合自己的创作实践,谈谈对雕塑的认识和体会。

Their works can neither confirm themselves in the world art nor be recognized by ethnic cultures, Can not stand the consideration that the spirit of the times points to.
