中药名称是一个复杂的问题,每一种中药都有几个甚至几十个名称。一般把国家药典、中药学及古代本草等书籍已有收载并为中医临床、中药科研、生产经营等单位经常使用,为多数人所公认的其中一个作为“正名”,而把其它一些称之为“别名”。中药鉴别与药物发现同源,相传在公元前2780年间,神农氏“教民播五谷,尝百草之滋味”。《神农本草经》为我国已知最早的药物学专著,该书收载的药物,虽无鉴别方法专论,但药物名称本身却反映了鉴别经验和方法,共载药365种,其中与鉴别有关的药名88种,占24%。了解中药名称
