11月10日,中央政治局委员、国务委员、国家教委主任李铁映同志来中央党校作了关于我国教育发展与改革问题的报告。报告中指出,在社会主义现代化建设的过程中,必须坚定不移地把教育放在优先发展的战略地位。他说: 教育的社会主义方向、教育发展、教育改革,是研究和建立有中国特色的社会主义教育体系必须解决的三个重大问题,而确立社会主义建设必须依靠教育的战略思想,把教育放在社会主义现代化建设中优先发展的地位,又是解决这三大问题的前提。
