本研究以石蜡制片方法观察高粱花粉管伸入水稻胚囊后,释放精子,两亲性细胞融合过程及胚胎发育情况。观察表明:高粱精子能够与水稻卵子融合形成合子。少数合子(占0.44%)进一步分裂,发育成幼胚组织。本文对远缘杂交性细胞融合的潜在价值,促进杂种胚胎继续发育的方法及某些远缘杂种形成的机制进行了探讨。
In this study, we observed the process of sorghum pollen tube extending into the embryo sac of rice after the paraffin method was used to release the sperm, the process of amphipathic cell fusion and the embryo development. Observations show that sorghum sperm can fuse with rice eggs to form zygotes. A small number of zygotes (0.44%) further split into immature embryo tissue. In this paper, the potential value of distant hybridization, the method to promote the development of hybrid embryos and the mechanism of some distant hybrids were discussed.
