一、简历刘恒之,汉族,籍贯广西苍梧,1920年10月12日生于广西苍梧县长洲,高中肄业。1939年~1942年,在东北救亡总会宣传队(重庆)、抗敌演剧队二队(陕西宜川)等抗日团体中担任音乐组长和创作、指挥、刊物编辑等工作。1942年12月到延安。1943年1月~1944年5月,在延安行政学院整风学习。1944年5月~1946年3月,转至鲁迅艺术文学院,先在鲁艺工作团当团员,继在戏音系资料室做研究工作,后任教员。1946年3月12日加入中国共产党。1946年5月~1949年10月,先在河北邯郸的晋冀鲁豫边区文联任研究员,继在河北邢台的北方大学艺术学院任音
