This paper discusses the design of secondary instrument for steam calorimetry, which includes the establishment of mathematical model during measurement, the method of compensation for all parameters and the evaluation of the results after the realization of this method. Also discussed the microcontroller and peripheral circuit selection and hardware and software design of the basic issues involved.
