玉米单交种群单105(原反帝105)在我区已大面积推广,是我区播种面积最大的一个玉米单交种。一九七一年据十个点的产量统计,有八个点居第一位,两个点居第二位。每亩产量692～1100斤,增产显著。抗病性、抗倒性很强,深受广大贫下中农欢迎。但目前由于盲目引种纯度不高的亲本和繁种技术不严格等原因,而造成了亲本不纯,已严重地影响着群单105的增产效果。亲本不纯的主要原因: 一、引入的亲本自交系不纯。例如秦市由河南引入的525和唐山农研所由双桥农场引入的C103本身就是已混杂的自交系,所以用它繁殖的种子也是不纯的。
