本文以怀集县龙鱼舞为研究对象,运用文献资料法、访谈法和田野调查方法对怀集县龙鱼舞的起源、文化内涵、发展现状和发展措施等进行了研究.发现龙鱼舞源自于石氏族人的改编创造,并逐步在怀集县凤岗镇周边形成传统的舞蹈形式.龙鱼舞在发展过程中出现了传统观念文化、师徒传承制文化和器具文化等方面的变化.针对出现的问题,本文提出了加强龙鱼舞师资力量的投入、加大传统文化的宣传、弘扬和活化龙鱼舞的传承和建立民间艺术保护区发展的几点建议.
