黄河咆哮,一泻千里,在山西河津龙门山脚甩下了万顷荒滩。相传这里曾是唐太宗岳丈詹太师的牧马之地,人称它放马滩。然而,这里没有草,没有水,也没有马的影子。但这里并不寂寞,亚洲最大的铝工业基地,国家七五重点项目山西铝厂,正在这片荒滩上飞速兴建。工地上,成千上万的建设大军日夜拼搏,描绘着铝基地宏伟的蓝图。为了缓解我国铝消费紧张的局面,中央领导同志曾专程来放马滩视察工作。
