海门港地处浙江中部沿海,扼台州湾椒江入海处。南北两岸山川毗连,港内岸线顺直,港池宽阔,航道畅通,是一个历史悠久,自然条件优越的天然良港。在入海口南岸有牛头颈山伸出江面,北岸有小园山逼江而立,形成970米宽的水上门户,故称海门。口外有大陈列岛、东矶列岛为屏障。三千吨级轮船常年可候潮进出,大潮位时五千吨级轮船及浅吃水万吨轮可满载进港。它与宁波、温州、舟山并称为浙江沿海的四大港口,是全国沿海24个重点港口之一。
Haimen Hong Kong is located in the central coast of Zhejiang, Zhejiang Taizhou Bay Jiaojiang into the sea. It is a natural port with a long history and excellent natural conditions. On the south bank of the estuary, there are Niutoushan Mountain stretching out of the river. There is a small park in the north bank forcing the river to stand and form a water portal of 970 meters in width. Therefore, it is called Haimen. Outside the mouth of a large display island, East Side Island as a barrier. Three thousand-ton ships can be perennial to enter and leave the tide, the tide when five thousand-ton ships and shallow draft million tons can be loaded into the port full load. It and Ningbo, Wenzhou, Zhoushan and known as Zhejiang’s four major ports along the coast, is one of 24 key ports along the coast.
