閱讀《鉄路标准設計通訊》1964年第11期孙永福同志写的“鋼筋混凝土梁裂紋观察的几点意見”文章后,对作者呼吁有关单位应对研究和設計符合实用的活动检查設备一事給予足够的重視,笔者亦有同戚,認为发出这种呼声是及时而迫切的,完全表达了我們桥梁养护工作者的要求。在当前設計工作大搞革命化的形势下,我們深信在研究、設計和养护部門三結合的共同努力下,經过一段不长时間的实践后,一定能够制造出既实用又安全的圬工梁的活动检查設备,滿足对圬工梁裂紋检查工作的需要. 1963年末,我們曾花費了1500元,按鉄路专业設計院編制的零号图,专桥8111“拼装式(活动)多能檢查設备”試制了一套,但失敗了。主要問題是;(1)原設計利用栏杆扶手或挡碴牆頂作检查設备的滑行道,当栏杆有螺栓伸出立柱时,或遇到避車台或两孔梁間扶手需要分开时,竪梯就无法通过了。 (2)一側竪梯和平梯组装后重量約150公斤,很难由桥面上翻落桥下组
