英语阅读训练是英语学习的核心,英语阅读能力是听、说、写、译的基础,高校英语阅读教学是培养学生成为能利用英语快速获取各种信息,并具有高校专业知识技能和外语交际能力人才的有效途径。本文在分析当前高校英语阅读教学现状的基础上,指出课程设置不合理,教学方法和阅读教学模式的落后,学生不良阅读习惯是其存在的主要问题,并针对这些问题就如何提高学生英语阅读能力提出了一些建议。
