新疆二台断裂带上的海子口和木库尔拉森剖面广泛出露多种产状、多种形态和多期次的假玄武玻璃.它由碎屑和基质组成,碎屑主要为围岩(糜棱岩)的细小碎片和石英等矿物;基质为隐晶质和玻璃质,其中常有纤维状和放射状微晶.其化学成分与围岩的成分十分相似.综合各方面的特征认为,假玄武玻璃是由糜棱岩在断层快速运动过程中经局部熔融产生的,形成的深度为10~12km,导致假玄武玻璃产生的地质事件是古地震.
The Haizikou and Mukullasen sections of the Ertai fault zone in Xinjiang are widely exposed in various producing, multi-morphological and multi-stage false basaltic glass, which are composed of clastic and matrix, and the clastic is mainly composed of the surrounding rock (Mylonites) and quartz and other fine minerals; substrate is cryptocrystalline and vitreous, which often fibrous and radial crystallites. The chemical composition and the composition of the rock is very similar.According to the characteristics of various aspects, Fake basaltic glass is produced by local melting of mylonites during the rapid movement of the faults, forming a depth of 10 ~ 12 km. The geological events resulting in false basaltic glass are paleoseismic.
