石横特殊钢厂在２０ｔＥＢＴ电炉上采用以喷粉造泡沫渣工艺代替过去用锨加入炭粉造泡沫渣工艺，解决了氧化期埋弧效果差、提温困难等问题，冶炼电耗降低１０ｋＷ·ｈ／ｔ、冶炼时间缩短２～３ｍｉｎ，电弧辐射和噪音明显减小。
