The newly synthesized human bone tissue substitute materials of sodium hydroxy polyphosphate and hydroxyapatite, bio-glass ceramic, titanium alloy were implanted in the mandibular extraction of nine domestic dogs, implantation, a month after surgery, January and March X-ray examination, scanning electron microscopy and X-ray energy spectrum analysis and other methods to examine the impact of these materials on the healing process. The results showed that these four materials all formed osseointegration with the bone interface, especially calcium hydroxyapatite could easily form the osseointegration interface at early stage. Early in the experiment, the material-bone interface has low levels of calcium and phosphorous but high levels of sulfur and silicon. With the extension of time, the contents of calcium and phosphorus in the bone interface gradually increased, while the contents of sulfur and silicon decreased gradually, indicating the degree of calcification in the bone interface gradually increased.
