INTRODUCTION The Second International Conference on Technical and Vocational Education was held to provide a redefinition of technical and vocational education (TVE) to member countries of UNESCO (Note: in the context of this conference, the term technical and vocational education also includes Vocational training) policy to meet the challenges of employment and other socio-economic problems encountered in the early 21st century. TVE policy redefinition
