In my monopulse radar velocimetry equipment, there is a simple simulator that gives the true target velocity and acceleration (given by the corresponding Doppler frequencies and variations). With the speed loop tracking of this signal, the system can check the normal or not, to determine whether the fault is generated internally or externally. Since previous simulators were unable to generate radar echo signals with velocity and range coherence, the elimination of velocity blur checks must be performed under the specific conditions of Doppler velocity and zero acceleration.
