Odev Mystery is a representative Gothic novel by Ann Radcliffe. There are many studies on Gothic aesthetics of the novel. This article tries to discuss the mystery of Odev from the perspective of existential philosophy and fully excavate The theme of existentialism provides a new perspective for the study of the novel.
