土豆“上帽”,就是当土豆秧刚出土时趟一遍地,将土豆秧压上1寸厚左右的土,并用木磙子轻压一遍。这样做利于保墒,而且秧子比较粗壮,根系发达,可增强抗旱能力。同时地下部分增加结土豆的匐匍枝层数,结薯多,生长整齐一致。在同样的肥力和栽培条件下,可增产20～30%。
