膨胀土的膨胀及基础的相关位移对许多结构物造成严重的事故。由于在伊尔比德(Irbid)膨胀性粘土的存在,致使许多建筑物和各种道路严重破坏,从而造成惊人的维修费用。本文报导了降低粘土膨胀性的试验研究成果。评价了几种稳定技术。这些技术方法包括:不同含水量和不同重度条件下的压缩土,具有不同含砂量、不同石灰含量、不同水泥含量和不同含盐量孔隙流体的重塑土。研究结果表明所有方法有效而不同程度的降低试验土的膨胀性。然而,加入石灰并预湿最适于改善膨胀性,而相比之下,盐溶液几乎没有什么效果。
The expansion of the expansive soil and the related displacement of the foundation cause serious accidents to many structures. Due to the presence of expansive clay in Irbid, many buildings and various roads were severely damaged, resulting in astonishing maintenance costs. This article reports the results of experimental studies that reduce the swelling of clay. Several stable techniques were evaluated. These technical methods include: compressed soils with different water content and different severity, remolded soils with different sand contents, different lime contents, different cement contents, and different salt content pore fluids. The results of the study indicate that all methods are effective and have different degrees of reduction in the expansibility of the test soil. However, the addition of lime and pre-wetting are best suited to improve the expansibility, whereas saline solutions, by contrast, have little effect.
