A series of sulfonated polydioxolane were prepared from dioxolane using cis 2-butene-1, 4-diol and BF3·O(C2H5)2 as monofer and initiator and characterized by FT-IR, 1HNMR, GPC and elemental analysis. A simple method is described for seperation of highlyionized polyether from the products of the addition reaction.
