乳腺小叶上皮细胞内含有的HER-2基因是人表皮生长因子受体“家族”的成员之一。人的HER-2基因位于染色体17q21,是分子量为185kD的跨膜糖蛋白,简称HER-2蛋白或受体。在乳腺癌患者中,有20%~30%的患者表现为HER-2蛋白过度表达,并且研究结果显示,该类患者的预后较差。该基因扩增的患者依据美国国立癌症综合网络(NCCN)指南的建议需要接受一定的分子靶向药物治疗。因此,对于乳腺癌患者而言,该基因检测的准确性是至关重要的。
The HER-2 gene contained in breast epithelial cells is a member of the human epidermal growth factor receptor “family”. The human HER-2 gene is located on chromosome 17q21 and is a transmembrane glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 185 kD, HER-2 protein or receptor for short. In breast cancer patients, 20% to 30% of patients showed HER-2 protein overexpression, and the results show that such patients with poor prognosis. Patients with this gene amplification will need to receive some molecular-targeted drug therapy as recommended by the National Cancer Council Network (NCCN) guidelines. Therefore, for breast cancer patients, the accuracy of the gene test is crucial.
