This is a historic event. Because it was held on the basis of many successful collaborations between Chinese and foreign architects over the past 10 years and achieved fruitful results, it is an important manifestation of many achievements and experiences in the excellent situation of reform and opening up. Researching and summarizing this academic achievement in time will surely leave its glorious footprint in the history of Chinese architecture. And it will make a useful contribution to the development of China’s construction reform and opening up to the good situation and to the improvement of architectural creation and academic standards.
